The Smart Romania Project was a national initiative aimed at exploring alternative public policy solutions, starting from the regional level. It enabled the implementation of a fully participatory process that brought together a wide range of stakeholders.
Key results
This experience led to the development of three public policy proposals with national relevance:
- Supporting the digital transformation of SMEs
- Launching a pilot public–private partnership for export support
- Encouraging the consumption of locally produced agri-food products.
